Ph.D. Graduates

Ian Costanzo currently works at Intel as an analog design engineer. He defended his Ph.D. dissertation and graduated in May 2022.

Ian Costanzo received his B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a minor in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), Worcester, Massachusetts in 2015. He received his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2017, also from WPI. He was a Ph.D. candidate in the New England Center for Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Design (NECAMSID) and the Integrated Circuits and Systems Lab (ICAS). more

Devdip Sen currently works at Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) as a product engineer. He defended his Ph.D. dissertation and graduated in December 2021.

He received a B.E. degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai, Mumbai, India, in 2015, and the M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA, USA in 2017. He was a Ph.D. candidate in the New England Center for Analog and Mixed-Signal IC Design (NECAMSID) and the Integrated Circuits and Systems (ICAS) lab. more

M.S. Graduates

Jack Adiletta currently interns at Intel. He graduated with an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering through the BS-MS program in 2025. He is a Goldwater Scholar with a focus on innovation at the intersection of the fields of analog circuits, digital design, and artificial intelligence. He is an intern at Intel in the Network and Edge group, designing and analyzing network interface chip compiler tools. His interests are in analog design and accelerators for artificial intelligence.

Parisa Saadatmand Hashemi currently continues her PhD studies at Case Western Reserve University. She graduated from WPI with an M.S. degree in 2025. She received her bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran, in September 2019. Following her graduation, Parisa started working as an electronics intern and engineer in a start-up firm in Tehran for a year. In this firm, she contributed to designing and implementing magnetic field measurement circuits with applications in navigation systems and metal detector devices. During her experience, she gained valuable hands-on skills in analog and digital circuits design. Additionally, she analyzed a metal detector device through reverse-engineering its circuits and obtained innovative analog circuit design methods. more

John Lemieux graduated with a B.S./M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) in 2025. He has experience working on PCB design, soldering, and circuit design from Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School. He is interested in working in Computer Architecture and Analog Signals. His research at ICAS focused on the design of transcutaneous oxygen-sensing PCBs.

Burak Kahraman currently works at imec as an analog IC design engineer. He graduated with an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from WPI, Worcester, MA, USA, in 2024. He received the B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara, Turkey, in 2021. In 2019 summer, he conducted a summer internship at TUBITAK with a focus on PCB design with Altium Designer. In the 2020 summer, he also conducted a summer internship at ASELSAN Inc. with a focus on GUI design with C#. During his senior year, he worked as a candidate engineer at ASELSAN Inc. with a focus on RF design. He joined the Ph.D. program of ECE at WPI in the fall of 2021. His research at ICAS Lab focused on transcutaneous blood gas monitoring.

Genesis Bernabel graduated with a B.S./M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) in 2025. Alongside her engineering studies, Genesis was enrolled in WPI’s teacher preparation program and plans to graduate with a High School Physics License. She has hands-on experience in electrical construction from Worcester Technical High School and is actively engaged in research at the ICAS lab, where she focuses on optimizing the power system of a transcutaneous blood oxygen sensor.

Miguel Arturo Gonzalez currently works at Schneider Electric Inc. as a sales and distribution Engineer. He graduated with an M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from WPI, Worcester, MA, in 2024. Miguel received a B.S. in Electromechanical Engineering from the Technological University of Panama, Panamá City, Panamá, in 2021. He previously worked as an electrical design engineer for T.Y.Lin International for one year. In March 2022, he was awarded the Fulbright scholarship. At the ICAS Lab, Miguel worked on wireless power transfer systems, with a focus on antenna design.

John Matthews currently works at Skyworks Solutions as an RF design engineer. He graduated from WPI with a B.S in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) in May 2023 and with an M.S. in ECE in May 2024. He interned at CommScope, gaining experience in both RF circuit design and test engineering for hybrid fiber-coaxial devices. At the ICAS lab, he studied new methods for transcutaneous carbon dioxide measurement. 

Nate Reppucci currently works at Infineon Technologies as an IC verification engineer. Nate graduated in May 2024. Nate received a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2024. In the summer of 2022 and 2023, he interned at Generac Power Systems as an electrical engineer working on the design and implementation of solar inverters and optimizers. He worked toward his M.S. degree with the Integrated Circuits and Systems (ICAS) Lab, with his primary research focus on Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) systems for implantable and wearable medical devices.

Ben Larkin currently works at Analog Devices Inc. as a mixed-signal design engineer. He graduated in May 2023. He received a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2022 and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from WPI, in 2023. His interests include analog/mixed-signal circuits and RF circuits. He previously interned at Analog Devices as a Product Engineering Intern during the summer of 2021 and 2022. Ben designed a portable blood pH sensor for his MQP. At the ICAS Lab, he worked on the Transcutaneous Carbon Dioxide Monitoring wearable.

Ravi Kirschner currently works at Raytheon Technologies as an ASIC design engineer. He graduated in May 2022. He received his B.S degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA in 2021. He worked on his Master’s in ECE, focusing on analog integrated circuits and digital system design. He interned at Raytheon, designing scan chain test systems and verifying PDK behavior, and his research will be focused on designing integrated circuits for implantable optogenetic systems.

Aatreya Chakravarti currently works at Marvell Technology Inc. as an ASIC architecture analog IO/HSS engineer. He defended his MS thesis and graduated in December 2021. He received his B.S. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering and in Biomedical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2019. He joined the M.S. program in Electrical Engineering with a focus on analog/mixed-signal IC design for medical ASICs. He interned for Marvell Semiconductor, working on high-speed SerDes topologies. His Master’s research at the ICAS Lab was dedicated towards designing implantable neural chips for optogenetic applications.

B.S. Graduates

Naisargi Mehta currently works at NVIDIA as an ASIC design engineer. She graduated in the spring of 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (BME) and Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), and with an M.S. degree in ECE in 2025. She has experience as a Hardware Systems Engineer at Analog Devices and a Systems Engineer at Dräger Medical Systems.

Ali Attaa currently pursues his M.S. degree at Johns Hopkins University. He received his B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and Biomedical Engineering (BME) in the spring of 2024. He has experience working as a Medical Devices Service Engineer at AMSA, and as an ECE Undergraduate Tutor at WPI. His interests are in Analog Design and Digital Signal Processing.

Livvey Kendzulak currently works at BAE Systems as an electrical engineer. She received her B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the spring of 2024. She has experience working as an Applications Engineer intern at Intel focusing on FPGA design and customer service, as well as a Hardware Engineer intern at BAE Systems with a focus on schematic verification. Her interests are in digital signal processing and FPGAs.

Ryan McSweeney currently works at BAE Systems as an electrical engineer. Ryan received a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the Spring of 2024. He is interested in microelectronics and embedded software. Ryan previously interned at White River Technologies as an Embedded Software Engineer.

Kosti Pano currently works at Draper. He received a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in December of 2023. His interests include analog/mixed-signal circuits and FPGA design. He interned at Draper Labs as a Mixed-Signal Design Engineer during the summer of 2023 and will join the lab full-time in December. Kosti is also working on improving the Transcutaneous Carbon Dioxide Monitoring device so that it can do onboard processing for his MQP. 

Kleo Golemi currently works at Draper. He earned his B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in spring 2024 and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in spring 2025. He has experience as a Systems Engineer research assistant at WPI and is working on transcutaneous carbon dioxide monitoring in the ICAS Lab.

Evan Apinis currently works at zeroRISC as a hardware engineer. He received his B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the spring of 2024 and his M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at WPI in the spring of 2025. He has experience working as a Hardware Engineer intern at Viasat, focusing on Programmable Logic. His research at ICAS Lab was on transcutaneous carbon dioxide sensing. 

Ciara Murphy currently works at Draper as an instrumentation electronics engineer. She received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the spring of 2023. Her interests include sensor design and signal processing. She previously interned at UMass Chan Medical School in the Newborn ICU as a research intern, Boston Scientific as an R&D engineer intern, and Delsys, Inc as a hardware design engineer intern. 

Vanshika Rohera currently works at Analog Devices as an instrumentation system design engineer. She graduated with a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a minor in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in May 2023. She is interested in IC design, microelectronics, and embedded systems. Vanshika has previously interned at Analog Devices as an embedded systems intern in the summer of 2021 and at Dell Technologies as an engineering intern in the summer of 2022.

Abi Leonardi currently works at Texas Instruments as a field application engineer. She received a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the Spring of 2023 and plans to earn minors in both Chinese Studies and Computer Science. She has a variety of interests within the field, including signals, microelectronics, and power. Abi currently holds the position of Vice President for the Women in Electrical and Computer Engineering club. She previously interned at Texas Instruments as a Field Applications Engineering during the summer of 2022.

Sydney Hobson currently works at Wolf Greenfield as a technology specialist. She received both a B.S. and M.E. in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the Spring of 2023.  Her interests include sensor design and signal processing.  She previously interned at Siemens Healthineers as a Project Management Intern in the summer of 2021 and 2022.  

Joshua Geyster currently works at MIT Lincoln Labs as an engineer. He received a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in the Spring of 2022 and plans to receive an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from WPI later that year in the Fall of 2022. His interests include digital circuit design, embedded systems, and computer architecture. He previously interned at General Dynamics Electric Boat as a Systems Engineering Intern during the summer of 2021.

Evan Buckley received his B.S. degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from WPI in 2022 and has plans to complete his M.S. degree at WPI in the same field by 2023. He is interested in power systems, particularly renewable energy development. Evan currently holds the Vice President position for the WPI chapter of IEEE HKN. He worked on the blood pH sensor MQP team.

Eric Baccei currently works at Analog Devices Inc (ADI) as a product engineer in RF System in Package (SiP) group. He received a B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2021.

His interests include analog/mixed-signal circuits as well as RF circuit design. He previously interned at Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense as an Electrical Engineering Intern in summer 2019. He held an officer position in the WPI IEEE HKN.

Eric Macorri currently works at Analog Devices Inc (ADI) as a product engineer. He had a B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2021.

Eric has an interest in analog microelectronics and RF. This interest brought him to designing an analog front end for a noninvasive, wearable core body temperature sensor, which became his senior MQP. He interned as a Test Engineer for Teradyne over the summer of 2020. He held the Vice President position in the WPI IEEE. 

Cameron Williams currently works at Analog Devices Inc (ADI) as an RF test engineer. He had a B.S degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

His interests include mixed-signal and Microwave/mmWave design and test. He previously interned at Synopsys as a Digital Design Intern in the spring of 2019. He helped to develop a noninvasive, wearable core body temperature sensor for the lab during his senior MQP.

Franco Baudino currently works at Texas Instruments (TI) as an analog design engineer. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2020 and an M.S. in electrical engineering following his B.S.

Franco has an interest in analog electronics, with a strong background in computer science. Summer of 2019 he interned for Texas Instruments designing power ICs. In his free time, Franco likes to read about philosophy and understand how quantum physics creates electrical phenomena.  

Bill Chieng currently works at Texas Instruments (TI) as an application engineer. He received a B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2020 and an M.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from WPI in 2021.

His interests include analog/mixed-signal circuits, specifically analog microelectronics. He previously interned at Analog Devices as an Applications intern over the summer of 2019. He served as the secretary and webmaster for the WPI IEEE student chapter and an officer position for the WPI IEEE HKN.

Fivos Iason Kavassalis currently works at Philips as an electrical design engineer. He was an Electrical Computer Engineering major and a Computer Science minor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (class 2020).

He has been an Embedded Software intern at BOSE Corporation in the summer of 2019 and a lab intern at MIT Sea Grant in the summer of 2018. He was a member of the Honors Society for Electrical and Computer Engineers (Eta Kappa Nu) at WPI, a member of IEEE and of the Mathematical Society of America. During his MQP project, he worked on the design and implementation of a flexible wearable PPG sensor that collects and analyzes health data.

Yuchang Zhang is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He received a B.S. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2019.

His concentration is integrated circuitry design. During his time at WPI, he has conducted two types of research in the field of ECE, which include his MQP, utilizing thermal imaging and development of algorithms to detect and predict potential failures in high-voltage power systems, and interdisciplinary research between Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering, designing an integrated AFE for ENG (Electroneurogram) acquisition to help facilitate diagnostics of nerve degenerative diseases using TSMC 180nm technology.

Interns

Gwyneth Rose-Smith participated in the Biomedical Engineering (BME) Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program at Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s Biomedical Engineering Department in the summer of 2025. Her research opportunity is supported by the National Science Foundation REU grant (EEC2150076) and the Kern Family Foundation. She is from Acton, Massachusetts, and is a rising sophomore at MassBay Community College, where she is pursuing an associate degree in Mechanical Engineering (expected graduation in 2026).
